United Team to beat Spurs (Team News, Best XI and Score Prediction, Press Conference)

April 26, 2023

Team News

Bruno is a doubt and was seen wearing a precautionary protective boot on social media. He was back at training today, but whether he’ll be ready for the Spurs game remains to be seen. Garrancho was also back, but he definitely won’t play, according to the manager.

Maguire is available, but with Lindelof and Shaw looking good in the FA Cup he’s not a certainty to start despite the injuries to Martinez and Varane.

Team to beat Spurs

De Gea

Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Shaw Dalot

Casemiro Fred

Eriksen

Antony Martial Rashford

Maguire is an accident waiting to happen and spreads panic all around him. For that reason, he’s out. Fernandes should start if fit, but it’s doubtful his ankle healed quickly, so Fred comes into midfield with Eriksen playing behind the front three. Sabitzer can play there if Eriksen is tired too.

Martial is due a goal so he leads the line until he goes off injured.

Score : 3-1 United

Spurs won’t be as bad as their Newcastle game but Ryan Mason isn’t going to turn them around overnight. They’ll have the crowd behind them and will probably put in a few fouls early to show they care, but they are a spent force.
